# Kapshul

> Kapshul is a private medication tracker and pill-reminder app for iPhone. Unlike reminder apps that just buzz and hope you took the dose, Kapshul is built to keep your adherence record honest — and to keep your data on your device.

Kapshul helps people actually take their medication and build the habit, then keeps that record trustworthy. It is iPhone-only by design, using iOS features (Sign in with Apple, home-screen widget, Critical Alerts, region monitoring, Siri / Voice Control) that a cross-platform app cannot match. It is launching soon on the App Store.

## What makes Kapshul different

- **Home Alerts** (Personal tier): your iPhone learns where home is, then nudges you if you leave with a dose still due and checks you are actually home before it will log a Home Alerts dose as taken. Location is monitored on-device with iOS region monitoring and never leaves the phone. The point is adherence integrity — making it harder to mark a dose taken when you haven't.
- **Critical Alerts**: reminders that break through silent mode, Do Not Disturb and Focus for the doses that can't wait. Off by default; enabled per medication.
- **Customizable reminders**: early, on-time and late alerts per medication, plus adjustable repeat (pester) intervals until you take or skip.
- **Pharmacy refill and prescription-renewal reminders**, with one-tap Call Pharmacy / Email Doctor actions on the full-screen alert.
- **Home-screen widget** (Personal tier) showing the doses due today, in order.
- **Accessible design**: oversized, high-contrast, calm interface; Siri and iOS Voice Control support.

## Privacy

Medication data, schedules and history live on the user's iPhone (with an optional iCloud backup). Kapshul's servers store only the Apple user ID and subscription status — never the medication data. No ads, no data sale. One-tap account deletion wipes the on-device database, server record and iCloud backup (GDPR Article 17 / CCPA).

- Personal: unlimited medications, Home Alerts, Critical Alerts, home-screen widget. Indicative $3.99/month or $29.99/year; final price shown live on the App Store.

## Not offered (by design)

- No Android version (iPhone-only, no plans to change).
- No drug-interaction warnings (clinical guidance is a doctor's role, not a tracker's).
- No selling or sharing of medication data.
