A Critical Alert is a reminder that breaks through silent mode, Do Not Disturb and Focus, so a dose that really matters reaches you even when everything else is muted. Critical Alerts are off by default — you turn them on per medication, only for the doses that earn it.

Set your home location once and your iPhone learns where home is. After that, if you leave with a dose still due, Kapshul nudges you before you go — and when a Home Alerts dose is due it checks you're actually home before it logs the dose as taken. It's the honest way to track the doses that matter. Your location is monitored on-device using iOS region monitoring and never leaves your phone.

Yes. You can set medications for multiple times a day, specific hourly intervals, particular days of the week, or as-needed — and give each one its own early, on-time and late reminders. Set it up once per medication and Kapshul keeps the whole schedule straight.

Yes. Kapshul reminds you before you run out — both to refill at the pharmacy and when a prescription is nearing renewal with your doctor. The full-screen alert gives you one-tap Call Pharmacy and Email Doctor actions so you can act on it straight away.

Your schedule, reminders and medication history all live on your iPhone, so day-to-day tracking works offline. You only need a connection to search the medication database when adding a new medication and to sync your iCloud backup.

On your iPhone. If you turn on iCloud backup, a copy is stored in your iCloud Drive — the same place your phone backs up everything else. It never reaches Kapshul's servers.

No. We can't — we don't have it. Our servers store only your Apple user ID and subscription status. The medication data is on your phone.

Not yet — Kapshul is iPhone-only today, and an Android version is on the roadmap. We made the deliberate choice to build the best possible iOS experience first, using iOS-specific features like Sign in with Apple, the home-screen widget, Voice Control, and Siri / Apple Intelligence.

Not yet — an Apple Watch app is coming later. The home-screen widget covers the most common 'check next dose' use case in the meantime, and you can use Siri on your watch to ask Kapshul what's next.

Coming soon to the Personal tier. You'll be able to add a caregiver who receives an SMS if you're late taking a dose — so the right person knows without you having to broadcast every move. Single-user is the default; caregiver alerts are opt-in, dose-specific, and never share your full medication history.

One tap in Settings revokes your Sign in with Apple link, deletes the server-side account record, wipes the on-device database, and removes your iCloud backup — all at once. GDPR Article 17 / CCPA compliant. There's no going back if you delete from your iCloud; we don't keep it.
